Evoland Classic - Flash Browser Game

Evoland Classic was created by Nicolas Cannasse for Ludum Dare #24 . For those who haven't heard about it, the Ludum Dare is an online game jam where individuals or teams compete to create the best game possible on a set theme, in under 48 hours.

The game ended up winning the competition (out of 1400 games) and quickly gathered a very dedicated and enthusiastic fan base, reaching over 300000 players in the first few months after its release.

Invert

"Invert is a remake of a game I made in 2009, it's a puzzle platformer where you have to collect keys to progress through a level by inverting the world and changing the way you interact with it.


There are 40 different levels in this game, as well as a level editor which lets you create and share levels."


The controls can be changed in game via the options menu, the default controls are:
X - Jump/Select an option on the menu
C - Invert
R - Restart level
Arrow keys - Move
esc - return to the previous screen


Invert is available for free but, if you like the game you can pay the developer any amount you choose.

OpenTyrian & Tyrian 2000

OpenTyrian is a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian. Jason Emery generously gave the OpenTyrian developers a copy of the Tyrian 2.1 source code, which has since been ported from Turbo Pascal to C. The port uses SDL, making it easily cross-platform.


Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy.

A Super Mario Summary

A Super Mario Summary is my entry to the 23rd Ludum Dare 48 hour game development challenge. I tried to recreate every level in the original Super Mario Brothers game, but on a single screen each. The result is a puzzle platformer where you need to combine reflexes, timing, and clever thinking to succeed. 


To get the highest rating on a level, you need to take all coins and hit the top of the flag pole. Good luck!
